We scan all confirmed DVC reservations listings from a handful of brokers every hour to be able to combine them into a single searchable site. Often times, a Disney Vacation Club owner will book a stay and not be able to make it, so they will offer it up for sale as a “Confirmed Booking”.

Usually, no changes at all can be made to a confirmed booking. You can not change the check-in or check-out date, the Disney Vacation Club resort, the DVC room type, or the room view. The only exception would be if there is availability at the resort and the broker can work with the owner to make the change.

The other thing to keep in mind is that the cancellation policy on DVC confirmed bookings is usually not great. Where a room booked directly with Disney will allow cancellations with full refund up to 24 hours in advance, a DVC Confirmed Booking will often not be eligible for any refund if you need to cancel it last minute. Each broker has a different policy, and some will sell or include “trip insurance” with the booking, but actually getting a refund from a trip insurance company can be pulling teeth.
